PROJECT BRIEF
A typical alteration to a 1970’s style house – the client called for a cost-sensitive innovative restoration of their home.
They liked to think out of the box but felt uneasy with modern radical architectural changes. They opted for an earthy colour scheme, simplistic and functional design – to suit their personalities and taste.
During the design process, the architects felt the house called for a northern stoep addition, to celebrate the clients’ love for braai and entertaining.
Detail design went into the articulation of this space and gives this simplistic northern facade the missing design element that was needed.
